Women’s History Month: Dr. Judith Denery

Throughout the month of March 2024, Girls STEAM Institute is honoring the Women in STEAM for Women’s History Month. March 29th from 4-5PM PT, Dr. Judith Denery will be joining us for our special online conferences to discuss “Analytical Science: The Big Impact of Measuring the Very Small.”

Dr. Judith Denery has over 30 years of diverse experience in analytical chemistry and biotechnology, currently serving as the Director of Analytical R&D at UPSIDE Foods since July 2023. She previously held key positions at Cana Technology, where she was the Head of Science, and Amyris, where she advanced through various roles in analytics. Dr. Denery began her career as a chemistry teacher and Peace Corps volunteer in Tonga, later transitioning to research roles at Scripps Research and the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Humboldt State University and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biosciences from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
